From: jhorvath@raven.ultranet.com (John Horvath) To: robot-board@cmf.nrl.navy.mil Subject: MiniBoard Test Program Date: Thu, 15 May 1997 04:30:57 GMT I've written a test program for the Miniboard controller to test and debug sensors and motors. It runs under Win3.1 or Win95 and allows dynamic monitoring of all sensors and motor control. It uses the HexMon utility that first needs to be downloaded to the Miniboard. Then keeping the Miniboard connected to a PC comm port, this program (MBTest) connects and displays status of the Miniboard's ports while you interact with whatever is connected to it. This program is freeware and can be downloaded from my web page at: www.ultranet.com/~jhorvath/mbtest.shtml (yes, that's a "shtml" extension) I've only tested this with the Miniboard, but it may also work with the Handyboard or any other HC11 controller than can talk to HexMon. At a future time, I hope to add some more features to this program, but I thought others might find this version a helpful tool. cheers, john horvath
