I have two versions. One is the single chip version, the other is the expanded version. All of the pins from the CPU are extended via wirewrap pins. Everything is aligned on .1" centers, so you can insert the module right into a standard perfboard. After having tinkered with this stuff for the past 10 years, I have to admit the CGN wire wrap module is about the coolest ideas I have seen. While I think everyone should do a complete wire wrap CPU at least once, just for the sense of accomplishment, it gets pretty old once you have done 5 or 10 of them. The CGN module is the basic CPU circuit prebuilt, and ready for wirewrap. Its really a time saver. The modules run from $19 to $38. Since it takes me about 4-5 hours to build one from scratch, I find it cheap. I am not aware of a version that actually has the RAM built in, though they may have one. They have several options, including a MAX232, external memory latches, etc. You also might consider one of Peter Dunsters 'F1 boards. Personally, I don't need all of the motor driver stuff on the daughter board, but the 'F1 gives you expanded memory without loosing any of the I/O ports. Now that I have said all that, I don't have CGN phone or address here. The address is 1000 Chula Vista Terrace, CA , but that don't help much. ---------- | From: "David A.
