Research
My research interests are program analysis, compiler optimization, and interaction with programming language and computer architecture.
The current focus of my research is on:
- Program analysis and tool support for high reliability and performance
of embedded software
- Memory profiling and analysis for multimedia and embedded applications
- Resource-aware compiler and language run-time for embedded systems
- Analysis and optimization of Java
I am also interested in compiler and language engineering education. Targeting the embedded domain,
we have designed
a new language - Chirp, for programming embedded robot devices. Chirp has been used as target for
teaching
compiler implementation.
The details on my research projects can be found on my research page.
