Jie Wang’s Brief Bio

I was born and raised in Guangzhou. I lived with my parents and two younger sisters until I went to college at 16. My parents were both from Hunan province. My father is professor emeritus of physical education at South China Normal University and my mother associate professor emeritus of library science at SCNU. In 1978 I passed the college entrance examinations and was admitted to Zhongshan (Sun Yat-sen) University. I have been living in the US since 1986. I accepted Christianity in 1998 and was baptized on November 21, 1999.
