Research a Resume Style

Using any search engine find five attractive and professional looking business resumes of people in your field of interest. Examine their strong points and develop a resume style guide to prepare your own resume. The style guide should be a HTML page that will displayed on the Web as well as your resume. The style guide, the source code, and the displayed output for the five resumes that formed the basis for your judgment should be printed out and attached to your report.

Remember.. Design to attract and capture the desired audience's attention

Who is your audience? How did the five selected resumes hold the interest of the potential employers? What were the weaknesses of their approach? How will your resume attempt to address these issues? You may consult the Internet for hints on resume writing for this exercise; but, you must reference the sources. What valuable tricks did you pick up from reading the five resumes' source code?

Assignment.. Design a Business Style Resume

After selecting a style that gives a positive and professional looking resume, review your personal history and accomplishments, create your resume as the first page of your web site. If for some reason you do not wish your personal material to appear on the Web you may create a fictitious person (you should mark it as a  sample). The resume should include the use of the major features of the HTML language i.e. Lists, tables, text styles, etc. The page should include:

Since the work will be highly reflective on your professionalism, any spelling and grammar errors should be avoided. Thus, use an editor or word processor such as MS Word, that has a build in spelling checker, to create this document.

After you have completed the resume, use the validation tools to check the HTML for mistakes and correct any that are found. Name the resulting file resume.html and link it to your home page, i.e. index.html.
