About The Example
In this example using the map of Wyoming we use a number of different
shaped areas to test the Client Side image map function:
-
Yellowstone (upper Northwest corner) is modeled as a polygonal shaped hot
spot
-
Jackson Wyoming located at the junction of route 89 and 26 is modeled as
a circluar hot spot centered at the junction
-
The route Highway 14 is modeled as a rectangluar hot spot from Yellowstone
to Sheridan Wyoming
-
The state of Wyoming is modeled as a Rectangle that encloses the other
hot spots
Why is the rectangle for Wyoming defined last in the list of map areas?
Try to::
-
Find the various hot spots that define the areas of interest!
-
See what happens to the status message at the bottom of the window when
you put the mouse over a hot spot? This is due to a Javascrpt (see source)
See what happens if you click on the hot spot?
