I have poured over some of my old Track and Field News [73-79] to find
some additional sub-9:00 two milers.  Below are additions [or changes]
to your list.  All of these times can be confirmed by Track and Field News
for the year listed [with the exception of Tim Danielson, whose time was
included in an article about hs doublers in the Nov 74 issue--I am not sure
what year Danielson ran this time, but it was most likely his senior year,
whenever that was {67 or 68?}:

These are all outdoor, two-mile times. Some of these are improvements
for people already on the list.

Hammond IL [Chapa's teammates], and Hiefield times.  Any thing else I
