I removed $CASE/cvs/cvs_manual/* which contained an old (1996) rev 
of Cederquist's Guide: Version Management with CVS (ver. 6  or 7).

These  have been superceded by 

	$PH/cvs/cvsManualV10.html (dated Aug 1998, CVS vers. 10).

an updated html version which Jeff Feinberg provided in 2ks523.

Linux on Mercury now supports cvs --version  1.11.17 (client/server)

Date fields include yyyy on linux, 
Saturn has v 1.10 with only yy in date (old Y2K problem).
