aareadme in case/gen/lechner - RJL 96/?

I imported chgenv8 tonight from gen/ver_8,
then checked out gen/base/Master/ver_8/src, 
And checked out ver_8/src here.

Results of wc *.c *.h:

    8135   30674  368719 total

(gen/ver_10log/src has wc total = 10K+.)

Rev 96/6/21:
I  renamed the CVS repository (base to oldbase)
and tried again with module name chgen and tag ver_8.

I checked in the chgen tree - with ALL test/... (big).
I also checked in 'initial update of chgen ver_8'
(a twin) by mistake and then removed it 
from base/Master with rm -rf.

TBD: rebuld chgen and test it.

Result of cvs co chgen -t ver_8:

All normal ('U' reported per file) except:
...

		unexpected end of file
co aborted
cvs checkout: could not check out delta
...
At end, a complaint about '-t' and 'ver_8' files not found - 
implying the tag was ignored - wrong syntax maybe.

I can't find delta.* anywhere in gen or in bde, 
so it may be spurious.

I moved delta,v from the repository to lechner/delta,v.
