aareadme in $CASE/genxml

This directory holds a new cvs repository and checked-out
tree for the 02f gen2xml project by Chris Geggis.

The auxiliary files in cvsadmin are modeled after bde's
repository in $CASE/95s523/95sbde/base/Master,
but are not constrained by that.


The intent is to put the CVS content under base/Master
with root gen2xml. Then gen2xml will hold the checked-out
working copy of the gen2xml tree (e.g. doc, src, test,
etc.). Source code will probably be Java.

The goal of gen2xml is to convert generic .msdat schema 
tables (metadata) prepended to .dat application-specific  
database tables from the COOL framework, 
to and from .xml files.

The interesting part of this project will not arrive
until we can test it by import/exporting between
JPsim (+ bde + std) and commercial CASE tools like
Rational Rose. That may be a follow-on project.
