This is a README file for the 96f523/bde2java project

Originally pertains to $CASE/96f523/bde2java/gzeballo/doc/
However should remain in force if ported to $CASE/96f523/bde2java/doc 
as proposed.

This directory contains its documents, with this exception, in html format.

The files contain many server side includes to allow for
simple directory porting without added maintenance to file path
listings withing the document.

It is suggested that people accessing this directory do so
by creating a softlink from their local public_html directory
using the UNIX link commmand. By doing so, you will be able to access 
this directory from any terminal that is web capable. 

This directory contains no index.html file, nor is it recommended
that it ever does. This is because doing so would make the 
current directory structure unreadable by a web browser. Soft html links 
should be set up at the $CASE level to access all directories within
it.

The first document you may wish to access via browser should
be the docIndex.shtml page. It contains a detailed listing
of the files contained within this directory structure.

The only html document that needs specific link maintenace
is the javadoc link document (javadoc.shtml). As of this writing it
It contains relative links but to the current repository
of the bde*.html files generated by javadoc within wau's 
directory (my softlink /javadoc->$case/96f523/bde2java/wau/html/)
This means the links still work from this document, but if
the files are indeed moved up a leve, I'm not certain
that the softlinks will follow without specific maintenance.
