I created this directory today to group the bde2java 
project directories of smandava and jma. This bde2java 
update was hidden when they were directly under 04s522 
earlier.

This is the last bde implementation directly in Java.
It is based on earlier projects including an elegant one 
by RPoonsup. His code base ignored chgen architecture
and makes compatibility of bde and bde2java harder
to achieve because two versions of code have to be 
enhanced causing double maintenance.

The next bde2java should be based on genjava, which is
a Jave code generator working from the same .sch file
and  TT--->TA metadata  used by chgen and gencpp.
This will make the database back ends very similar
and preseerve daqa compatibility during upgrades.
