BDE2Java Link This page consists of the work done by the team members of BDE2JAV1 and continued in summer course 96su591, and a link to the current version of the applet.
BDE stands for Block Diagram Editor. The bde project is one of several object-oriented CASE tools created by graduate students in softwre engineering courses of the computer science department offered by Professor Lechner.
Bde was implemented with X11/Motif and runs on unix platforms. It is able to create/modify a hierarchical database of hyperlinked design diagrams through a graphic user interface based on X11/Motif.
BDE2JAV1 DEMO is a browser which extends the java class library to browse a file of block diagrams linked together by bde.
BDE2JAVA is a java version of the bde editor which can create and modify diagram files interactively. It has the same look and feel as bde.
