RJLRef: $PH/06f522/DBDElinks.txt I should like to justify my attempts to generalize SetGame by re-use of LCP and log/replay despite its inconvenience of leading you further down what may seem an odd learning curve. Hominid and SetGame are merely experiments on the way to collaborative design tools like DBDE (Distributed BDE). DBDE is described in several .ppt slide shows. at $PH/COOL-BDE/DBDE/... These document my long-range goal of log/relay extension to replicated databases, co-located with multiple updating clients who talk to (and negotiate with) a single arbiter and conflict resolver at a single server hub. This controls a master database and repository. Later the wheel hub and spokes might be generalized to a tree structure: (some Clients may become subordinate Servers).
