BDESYM is the project that incorporates the text facilities of SYMTXT into the Block Diagram Editor (BDE). The 1996 Spring BDESYM project integrates the extensions initially made by the 1994 Sprint and 1994 Fall BDESYM teams into the current BDE software baseline. Additionally, the 1996 Spring BDESYM project introduces changes to optimize the polymorphic pr_get/set_str macros introduced by the 1994 Fall BDESYM team and reduce the memory and storage requirements required for TK table rows.
