aareadme in $CASE/97s523/{bde2ht1, bde2gif}  - RJL 97/8/26

I moved subdir'y yuwong from bde2ht1 to bde2gif today.
It contains documentation re: yuwong's version of bde2gif.
It also contains a copy of the bde tree and executables
for neptune and alpha (the latter is handicapped and crashes).

TBD: build this bde for decstation. Fix the .ps link drawing
limitations (it now draws solid undirected links only).

WOrkaround: view the bde2gif files from a web browser;
netscape can display .gif files and print them (grainy).

Bde2gif includes changes to bde that add a print suboption
that converts one or all diagrams to .gif format directly.

Bde2ht1 can use these gif files without saving to .ps
and then invoking ps2gif (a 2-step process via ppm bitmaps).

YuWong's source code changes are probably in the bde version
under the i97s523/bde2ht1 project since their demos 
use his options.


rsemy's test1.dat file was converted to .gif today (97/11/13).
