Roland EGX-300

The Roland EGX-300 is a desktop engraver with full 3-axis (X, Y, Z) capability. It's intended for making engraved signs and other such artifacts. We use it for making PC boards by engraving the copper away from a bare board, and then (with a tool change) drilling component holes.

Calcomp Pen Plotters

We have two pen plotters — the Calcomp 1044 and the Calcomp “Pacesetter” 2036. They each have a 3” wide carriage and ability to switch amongst multiple pens. These should be great for outputting drawings of schematics and PC boards, as well as any other (vector-based) large-format output.
