LOGO FORUM LIBRARY MASTER INDEX ------------------------------- This master index provides a list of all files in the Logo Forum Libraries. With a few exceptions, all are text files that can be downloaded with or without a protocol. CIS B+ is the recommended protocol though others will work...only somewhat slower. File Conventions: ----------------- ***.TXT Files ending in .TXT are articles or documentation files. Use the BROwse command to read a description of these files, or READ to view the files on-line. ***.LOG These are generic Logo procedures that may require some editing to run in your version of Logo. The original package used is usually noted in the keyword description. ***.LF The LF extension is used by IBM Logo files. These can be run directly by many other versions of Logo. Just change the extension name. ***.LGO The LGO extension is used by PC Logo files. These too can be run by some other versions of Logo. Just change the extension name to .LF, .LOG, etc. ***.LWR LogoWriter procedures. Those with the /binary tag at the end are for Apple IIGS and IBM users. LogoWriter text files can be downloaded and edited to run under other versions of Logo. ***.BUG Ladybug Logo files that can be easily edited to run in LCSI or Terrapin versions of Logo. LadyBug Logo files tend to pick up extra "garbage" at the end of the file -- duplicate text characters from the file. Variable names can also be found in the file, rather than at the end as is the case with LCSI and Terrapin Logo files. These files are being cleaned up as fast as possible...but don't be surprised if you catch a "dirty" one. ***.OLO Object Logo files. ***.MIT These are Terrapin Logo binary files which have been converted to text. Download and EXECute them. ***.S EdScheme files ***.SIT These are compressed files requiring STUFFIT for SIT Mac files, ***.ZIP unZIP files for MS-DOS systems. u'll find conversion files in Library 4 to convert Logo text files to Apple II or Commodore binary files. --==***>>> PLEASE NOTE! The procedures and files in the libraries are all public domain or freeware. Please respect the copyright notices provided. Some procedures lack instructions, some are not as complete as they might be. So don't be surprised at errors. Expect to do some editing. But that's the fun of Logo. ========================================================================== LIBRARY 0, LOGO NEWS -------------------- [100237,2355] METHOD.TXT/Text Bytes: 18905, Count: 22, 02-Jul-94 Last:13-Sep-94 Title : Working in a Technology Saturated Environment Keywords: PEDAGOGY TEACHING STRATEGIES LOGOWRITER LOGO MANAGEMENT CLASSROOM This is the paper that I delevered at APITITE '94 Brisbane Australia.
