A logo discussion thread is becoming established on the fidonet conference
K12.comp.lit. This is accessible through some internet hosts. I think the
newsgroup would be called k12.comp.lit.

This is valuable because many fido users don't have access to the internet and
yet the K12.* grouping of fido is mainly teachers who may have a special
interest in logo or at least, I believe, that interest can be awakened in many
teacher fido users.

I mentioned before that I would ask the fidonet K12 Council of Co-ordinators to
consider gating comp.lang.logo through to fidonet so that fido members could
read and write to comp.lang.logo. I am continuing to pursue this request
through fidonet channels but do not have a clear answer yet.

In the meantime there can be an exchange of ideas about logo between internet
and fidonet
users through the k12.comp.lit newsgroup which is gated from fidonet to the
internet.

Spare a thought for those who don't have access to the Internet. Have a look at
K12.comp.lit and post your thoughts and responses about logo there. Some lively
discussions have begun to take off there.
