I agree absolutely with Larry's point, and with Brian's comments in
response to an earlier post on the same subject.  What I tried to do when
I wrote "All About Logo" was explain Logo to teachers and high school
students as a consistent, rational body of knowledge.  It's the same way
I tried to teach math to middle school students for thirty years!  What's
nice about Logo is that one *can* have fun exploring without formally
studying the language.  What's important for teachers, I think, is that
they follow-up their exploration with an understanding of *why* things
work the way they do.  Incidentally, I have no commercial interest in
"All About Logo" - it's copyrighted as shareware and available to anyone
for the asking.
