So please add things! Unfortunately, since anyone can add or delete files here, though, it might not be a very safe place to put things. I encourage anyone who wants to place something here a bit more permanently to read below about adding things to the "permanent" directories (like "logo/software" and "logo/literature"). When adding things here, it is most polite to make your own subdirectory (mkdir in FTP) and then add your files there. It is also really nice if you include a README file that tells who you are and what the files you've put here are for. From time to time, I might have to "clean up" the potluck directory. This might mean organizing files into subdirectories, and possibly deleting very old files if I can't figure out what they are and can't find who put them here to ask. Files in their own directories with README files attached should be relatively unaffected by cleanups. pub/logo/FAQ The comp.lang.logo "Frequently Asked Questions" list, maintained by Dale Parson, dale@mhcnet.att.com. Read this if you're first starting out. PUTTING NEW FILES ON THIS SERVER: Please add files to this server! In an effort to make adding things as easy for you as possible, I've made the "potluck" directory so that anyone can place things here without waiting for me to help. On the other hand, I encourage people to place things in one of the permanent directories (like logo/software or logo/literature, etc.) This is really simple -- just send me e-mail and I can either 1) move files you've placed on potluck to one of these directories, 2) undecode files you mail to me and put on one of these directories, or 3) give you a subdirectory and an FTP account so that you can install files (and future updates) yourself.
