Homework

Homework problems may be submitted using the submit command from mercury.cs.uml.edu.
The form of the submit command is given for each homework assignment. The effect of the submit command is to create a create or overwrite a .tar.gz file in a particular directory. All files for an assignment must be submitted with a single submit command.

All problems involving creating code require submitting a file or files containing the code. The names for the code files are given in the homework. Use those names! Failure to use the correct names will result in any preliminary checking software to fail, with the result that you may initially receive a 0 for a problem submitted under an incorrect name. After you have told the course staff what incorrect name you used for the file, the problem may be regraded with some number of points deducted for making the TA's job harder than necessary.

Always both hand in a paper copy and submit an online copy unless explicitly told to do otherwise.
