To run this jar file you should have the Java 2 1.4 or better installed and
in your classpath. The jar file has it's main class info within its manifest.
To run:

java -jar virusscanner.jar

This should work unless Swing and AWT components are not being found on 
your classpath. All builds of the virusscanner.jar file have been
tested on a machine running Java SDK v. 1.4.1.
