1. Print out the full scale elevation drawings of the file folder bridge (right click on this link and "save as" onto your computer). When you print the pdf file (using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader), make sure that the drawing is printed out 100% of the original size (make sure the "scale factor" box in the Adobe Acrobat print menu is not checked). You can verify that your printout is true-to-scale by measuring the center-to-center distance between two vertical posts (exactly 10 cm). Then carefully cut and tape the pages together into a full size drawing. Write your name on it, roll it up, put it into a tube if you have one, and bring it into class.
Here is another CAD tool for you to use: Trussmaster by Colin Caprani web page -- Look for the TrussMaster program (2nd one listed). Download the zip file, run the setup.exe file to install.

2.
