Projects In Engineering (PIE) - Level 4 Honors, Grade 11

Projects in Engineering provides students the opportunity to study and apply classical physics and to mathematics to solve real-world problems. This course is designed to show students the skills and thought processes you would use if you decide to go into a lucrative career in engineering or the physical sciences, and to prepare you as you enter a college program in those subjects. Students will study various topics in physics and the related mathematics, then apply those concepts to challenging, competitive design projects. Juniors taking this course will be prepared for AP Physics in their senior year.
