General

So this is where I talk about myself, huh? Well, my name is Venkata Satyam, but I'm usually called Ven for short.

I actually have many nicknames (or names given to me when people cant spell or pronounce it), including Van, Ven Diesel, Ven Halen, Ven Hellsing, Vencata, Vinkata, Vincata, Vincada, Haagensven, Venn Diagram, Ven-Coche, Vince Carter, Vinsanity, Vender Bender, V-Unit, or Vaughn.

Oh yeah, I'm 16 years old and a junior at Chelmsford High.

Medicine

Once I graduate from high school, I want to pursue a career in medicine. More specifically, I want to become a subspecialist doctor (such as a cardiologist or neurologist,) but I haven't decided which kind I want to be yet. I've learned a lot about medicine already, mainly since my father is a physician, but also because over the summer I attended the Health Science Honors course at Tufts University, where I learned more detailed anatomy & physiology, how to diagnose patients, and eastern methods of medicine like acupuncture.

It's probably not a surprise that I love anything spicy since I'm Indian, but I'm also fond of clam chowder, congo bars, and grilled chicken. (random, huh?) And I try to stay away from fast food, even though it tastes awesome.
