Mall Lab: Me and Antonia


First Plan

Motors A and B on for 4 seconds

Motor B on for 1 second

Motors A+B on for 2 seconds

Sensor A on (light)

Problems: Cricket did not go in a straight line

There needed to be another turn before we activated the sensors


Second Plan

Motors A+B on for 3 seconds

Motor B on for 1 second

Motors A+B on for 2 seconds

Motor B on for 1 second

Motors A+B on for 1 seconh

Problems: The straight for 3 seconds was too long

The motors need to be turned off once the sensors detect the light and make their way to it

Problems: Me and Antonia got our chricket to navigate through the mall and pick up the light sensors at the end of the course. However, we didnt use the sensors until the end of the course. To fix this, we have to check how the sensors react to diffrent quantities of light to try and find a more realistic strategy to reaching the final light.
