MLTHypothesis

Hypothesis: The aquatic plant duckweed has the ability to absorb phosphate from aquatic environments, and as the quantity of duckweed in an environment increases so does the absorbtion of phosphate.

• [Linda] I think that sounds too "conclusiony" so I'll just reword the above.
  (We hypothesized that) The duckweed's ability to absorb phosphate/phosphorous in an aquatic environment would allow it to absorb increasing amounts of phosphate/phosphorous as the amount of duckweed increases. (What's the difference between phosphate and phosphorous? o_O;;)
