Completing the Circuit
The main concept behind this solution is the integration of a simple circuit to inform whether or not the door is closed,
locked, or open. When the door is closed and unlocked, the circuit, placed in the recess wyhere the lock enters the
doorframe, will be left open and the door will be known as unlocked. If the door is closed and locked, then the lock will complete
the circuit and the device will beep (or make some other form of audio noise) to inform Jojo that the door is indeed
locked. In the last instance, the door is open. To inform Jojo of this, a simple switch can be used, an IR sensor can be included,
there are multiple ways to solve this particular problem and each is relatively easy to include. in this instance, to remind
her to lock the door, several beeps (or some other form of audio) will sound from a small audio device mounted near the
door. To automatically lock the door, in certain predetermined instances,
After the incorpation of these aspects, there are several "accesories" which I which to integrate into the design. These
include: a light detection sensor to autimatically lock the door as it grows dark, two button, one which autimatically locks
the door after it has been closed and another which diables this application for the single time door is closed directly
after the button has been pressed. (Yes Mr. Rhine this is complex but they're just ideas that i hope to incorporate)
This covers the basis of the "completing the circuit" idea.
