- This model was designed for bats B, C, E, G, H, and E (last year) and it can accurately predict certain aspects of each bat individually but lacks in precicion on every bat. CM is usually within 1 in. MOI is off at 6in by as much as 1500 oz/in^2 on some bats, and total bat weight is off by as much as 7oz on some bats (usually those off in weight are off in MOI as well). The model has the ability to take a user inputted number of layers and give a corresponding linear density (oz/in) and create a density model off of this data. The next installment of the model will be able to take inputted total length and region lengths and self correct, but for the time being, the user may have to adjust the variables and length of the bat by hand (the mode length of 30in is the defalt). The model is almost there. The shakey data made it hard to make spot on calculations, but they will due until more effective methods of calculation can be found. MOdel works best for those bats that went into its creation.
