CrowLetterDear Client, These three students, Kelly Mitchell, Josh Weinberg and Nate Gloacchini, are members of the UMass Lowell TEAMS Academy program, which provides math and science courses for academically advanced high school students. They are currently participating in the Assistive Technology Design Fair, for which they must design and build a project that will be helpful to a community member or organization with special needs. Currently, these students are trying to find an appropriate candidate. They are looking for someone who needs assistance performing everyday tasks or tasks that they enjoy doing. They will determine the best way that they can help this client get that task done. They will design a project for this community member, and then build it. They will then present the project to the individual, The hope of this group is to make the life of one community member a little easier. They want to positively effect the life of someone, and make their community a little bit better. Sincerely, Donald Rhine |
