AboutMeGeorge

About George!

So a little bit about me. I am 16 Years old, and am entering my Junior year at Dracut High.

I am a licensed Driver in the State of Massachusetts and can start driving other people around in February.

My favorite subjects in School are obviously Math and Science, but I absolutely HATE Geometry and I'm not too keen on Physics either. Chem, Bio, and Calc are my best subjects in School, and I can't learn enough about them.

I love to learn new things outside of school. Generally I gravitate toward theology, world religion, and world spirituality. I have finished studies in Orthodox (Ancient) christianity, Roman Catholocism, Orthodox (mainly Hasidic) Judaism, Zen Buddhism, Chinese Taoism, and Islam (Both Sunni and Shi'a).

I also keep up to date with the scientific world. This summer I attended a pharmocology seminar at MIT and I also studied Theoretical Physics (String Theory, M-Theory, Parallel Universes, The Singularity, 11th dimensional systems...)

Having been brought up with a Greek backround, my first language was Greek, and I learned English at roughly the same time.

This is called the Paralia and it is in Kalamata, the City my family is from in Greece. I went there last december, and while everyone here was freezing, I was swimming. :)

A little while later, I took up French, and gained fluency. My oral skills are a little rusty though. Currently, I study French in school and Arabic outside of school. The Arabic I chose to learn is Egyptian Dialect (The one most widely spoken), but because of my Islamic Studies I am also familiar with Modern Standard and Qu'ranic Arabic.

After a long day of school, it's great to fall back into the rigid and physically demanding sports routine. I run Cross-Country in the Fall, and PLay Volleyball in the spring.

My goal is to attend MIT where I hope to study Biological Chemical Engineering.

I hope to do research mainly in the field of cancer, but also in biohealth and astrobiology.

Astrobiology

Well thats a hunk of my life, feel free to contact me, and Looking forward to a great YEAR!
