RichardsWeeklyProgressWeek One: Jan 4Find Goal: I modified my Lab 5 Braitenberg Vehicle so that the Cr8 would turn around in a circle until it sensed the goal. Then it would drive proportional to the light readings until a certain high value was reached and then stop. This stopping point would be relatively close to the goal. Two Minute Timer: I wrote a code that runs the program for two minutes and then stops. This can be easily added to whatever program i'm writing. Week Two: Jan 11Servo Motor: I played around with the servo motor, seeing how long it needs to be turned for our capturing device to be positioned at the right place. Yellow/Blue Ball Mode: Trong and I played around with the switch and figured out a way to work it's use into our code. Succeeding WeeksBuilding Robot Hardware: Trong and I finished gathering/makeing the 9 sensors/devices that we may potentially used and put them onto the create. We also made a pulley system, using legos, that could raise and lower our captuing device. Identify Egg and Drive to Goal : In my part of the Egg Hunt I was able to get the cr8 to identify the color of the egg and either push it away, or have it bring the ball to the goal. For example, If the cr8 was in blue mode and it identified the egg as blue, it would then find its way to the goal, raise the capturing and push the blue ball into the goal. However if it was in blue mode and identified the ball as yellow, it would immediately raise the capturing device and pus the ball away. |
