HW 11: Start Individual Coding for Lab 5 and Use of Sensors/Debugging Tools
1. Review the class notes (recently updated) from Nov 25 to date
3. Coordinate with your partner for Lab 5 - one person must do wall following, one person must do Braitenberg vehicles
4. Take home a Create and play/experiment with external sensors. Figure out how they work!
- be careful to wire them correctly
- use the photos and notes in the Powerpoint presentation (pdf) as a guide!
- remember the experiments you performed on the Create's internal sensors? You'll need to explore the ranges and conditions under which these sensors operate as well!
- I gave you links to explore for the Sharp Distance Sensor--use them!
5. Write a brief program that demonstrates
(a) your ability to use the sensors to control the Create
(b) your ability to incorporate debugging tools into your code
6. Now that you have a better idea of how these external sensors work...
- revise your draft flowchart from HW10 (review debugging tool #1)
- and start writing your code! (remember debugging rule #2!!)
