Welcome to Interactive Robotics Fall 2008
Are robots simply machines programmed to perform repetitive tasks? Or are they capable of complex decision-making and learning? In this introductory, hands-on robotics course, students will:
- Explore robotics using the iRobot Create platform
- Explore a variety of electronic sensors, to learn how robots use them to interact with their environment
- Write control software using the C programming language
- Learn about robot control architectures
- Integrate their knowledge of programming, mathematics and sensors to create robots that perform a variety of interesting behaviors, including a final independent project.
