The 2008-2009 TEAMS Academy program is contingent upon receiving funding from the State of Massachusetts

TEAMS Academy wants you to come visit!

Spend a morning at the UMass Lowell TEAMS Academy --
see firsthand the great courses, lab spaces, and teachers we have to offer!

Who?

• We highly recommend that any high school sophomore or junior planning on applying to the TEAMS Academy stop by for a visit as part of the application process!

• You should have at least one teacher recommendation complete before you visit us (you or your guidance counselor may fax it to us at (978) 9034-2067)

Where?

• We are located on the North Campus at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell in Olsen Hall 400.

When?

• Dates: You must RSVP at least a few days before your visit! We welcome shadow visitors any day we are in session. Please coordinate your visit with your guidance counselor (you school probably needs a permission slip from your parents).

• How to RSVP: Go to our Shadow Visit Schedule, pick a date, and send us an email (teams@uml.edu) to reserve that date. We will contact you via email and add your name to the RSVP list.

In your email, please include the following information:

• Name
• Gender
• School
• Grade
• A couple of dates that you can come
• How you will be transported to UMass Lowell

• Time: Classes meet from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. You should plan on being here at 7:35 a.m. (we will give you a room number to meet us--see campus map).

Transportation:

• TEAMS Bus: If your school already participates in the TEAMS Academy, you may be able to take the teams bus. Click here to see the bus stops and schedules.

• Drive yourself/Parent Drop-off/Pick-Up: You can make your own transportation arrangements for a visit! Parking is limited around campus, but there is a coin-metered lot very close to our buildings (see campus map for location of that parking lot). Be sure to bring eight quarters ($2) to feed the meter!
