The Sensor Blocks & What they Do

Here's a description of some of the (+more useful+) sensor blocks...

switch Returns a value of 1 if a switch is activated (pressed), returns a value of 0 if the switch is not activated. You can choose switcha or switchb, so check which sensor port (A or B) your switch is plugged into before using this command!

sensor Returns the value of an attached sensor between 0 and 255. You can choose sensora or sensorb based on the port your sensor is plugged into.


Here's an example!

This Logo Block program will...

  • Wait until whatever is attached to sensor A returns a value of 1
  • Turn motor B on for 20 tenths of a second (2 seconds)
