Here is a link to the TEAMS Sophomore Robotics Mission Challenge. Word document

This is a PDF of the curriculum for the seminar. The on-line version of this curriculum is available at our iCODE program site.

Sample Code

You will be programming using the icon-based “Logo Blocks” language. A complete language reference is here and here is a nice one page summary. You can download the Logo Blocks application (for Windows or Mac) here.

To familiarize yourself with the Cricket and Logo Blocks, you may want to try the following series of activities:

if you get stuck, page references to the handout are given in red

  1. Make the Cricket beep 3 times 7
  2. Make the Cricket drive forward for 2 seconds, then stop 8
  3. Have the car make a turn (There are many ways to do this! You might want to try more than one.) 9
  4. Drive forward until the switch is on, then stop or turn 13
  5. Display the photo or IR sensor output 15

Here are some sample programs:

Libby, Elaine, and Mike: Stan & Don made it through museum with only one photo resistor!! Check our blocks!!
