Open Lab Day Registration Instructions

High School Sophomore Exploration @ UMass Lowell

Open Lab Day

Saturday, October 20^thfrom 8:45 am to 1:00 pm in Olsen Hall Room 402

Refreshments from 8:45 am to 9:00 am, followed by a FREE LUNCH at 12:10 pm!

Here's what you need to do to register:

Send an email to Monica Giddings at Monica_Giddings@student.uml.edu with the following information. You may also call us with the informaition (978-934-4613) or send us a fax (978-934-2067).

1. Student name
2. Student gender
3. Name of student's high school
4. Student's current grade (must be sophomore)
5. Title of the sophomore high school math class student is currently taking
6. Name of student's current math teacher
7. Parent/Guardian name
8. Parent/Guardian telephone number

Note that students/parents need to provide their own transportation to the Open Lab Day.

Schedule of events for Saturday, October 20th:

• 8:45 - 9:00 Students/Parents check in in Olsen Hall Room 402 (refreshments available)
• 9:00 - 10:30 Workshop #1
• 10:30 - 10:40 Short break, move to next workshop
• 10:40 - 12:10 Workshop #2
• 12:10 - 12:55 Lunch in Olsen Hall Room 402
• 1:00 - Students depart
