//Siguatepeque can some time express as the “garden city” because of its green and colorful mountain terrains. Siguatepeque located in the Central Mountains of Honduras. The region, with its distinctly rural flavor, is primarily dedicated to farm and forest enterprises. Siguatepeque located almost half way between San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa, the two largest cities in Honduras which make it very convenient for the travelers. There are three seasons in Siguatepeque. In the wet and rainy season between May to November, it provided enough rain to ensure a green vegetation field. While it escape the extreme humidity of the hotter and wetter lowland areas. From November to February, the temperature become colder, it dropped down to 8 oC. From February to May, the temperature rise up and come the dry season. There is a huge climate advantage in Siguatepeque compared to the coastal areas and the lower elevation. At 1100 meters above sea levels, Siguatepeque would be a perfect place for any kind of plantation. Siguatepeque standing high above all the surrounding area and with a body of stream and river such as Rio Celam running at the lower channel, it provided enough water for vegetation during the dry season.
