Hints to consider when you reverse-engineer the foil pattern (Part A):

  • Be sure to upload the latest set of Eagle Library updates before you begin!
  • You should recognize which type of 555 circuit is being used! You should lay out your circuit diagram in a manner that matches the 555 data sheet's layout (familiar organization helps us quickly see the function!).
  • Be sure to calculate the 555 circuit's "key parameters"
