Downloading EAGLE version 5.60 (it's FREE!)

Version 5.6 - three versions are available for Windows, Linux, and MAC OS

- Windows users: I've used this version on XP and Vista with no problems.
- click "run" to download the program and run the installation program
  OR
- click on "save as", save the file, then double click on the saved file to install the program
  OR

After you download EAGLE...update libraries!

Please update the component libraries with some files that I've changed.

Follow these steps before you get started...

Right mouse click on this link to Revised EAGLE Libraries and save it to the following directory on your C: drive...
C:\Program Files\EAGLE-5.6.0\lbr
After you have saved the file, unzip the lbr files into the lbr directory. If your are prompted "do you want to overwrite newer versions" click on "yes to all".
Now open up EAGLE to verify that the libraries are there...
- In the EAGLE Control Panel, double left mouse click to view all of the libraries
- Scroll down to the list of libraries to locate the new libraries you just added
- When you find the library, make sure the the "dot" to the right of the library name is GREEN. If it isn't green, right-click on the library name, then click on the Use menu item.
