CommentsAttach: Circuit.jpg Help! The LED goes on as soon as I attach the battery and the button seems to have no effect. What did I do wrong? -Erin Which LED went on? you have two of them! One of them is active low and will be on when no output pulse is present. That one will go off and the "active high" will go on when the pulse is triggered.
I won't comment on your breadboard (I do see at least two errors). I will comment on a neat and properly labeled circuit schematic (diagram). Please label each component with a name and value, and also number or lable each node to make it easier to dicuss. Take a picture of it and email to me and call me on my cell phone and we'll discuss. 978-349-1078. ~Rhine
It was the green LED, and I thought that I had mixed up ground and charge for pins 1 and 8, so I fixed that. Attach: Circuit2.jpg New Diagram |
