- When I was breadboarding for Lab 2, I noticed that I didn't have enough components to make all three circuits. I didn't have enough resistors and the diode and photoresistor were reused in the 2nd circuit. Should we make the 2nd circuit even though we don't have all the components and just put wires in place of the components that we didnt have or wait until we do get the components? ~Chandni
- Mr. Rhine I'm having alot of trouble breadboarding! Like Chandni I didn't have the parts for the second circuit. On the third circuit though, how do you know which end of the LM555 is which? Also on that website it has the pin/port things listed differently than the picture you gave us. Do you need connecting wires all over the place in the third circuit too? ~Lisa P.
- Unfortunately you didn't pick up the extra parts the day we started the lab. Breadboard as much as you can, but don't take apart our first circuit to make your second circuit. ~Ms. Thomas
- Lisa, the pins on an 8 pin device are always numbered in order. The pins on the diagram are not numbered in the same way. You have to look at the diagram and see which pin matches up with where it physically is on the chip. At first this might seem confusing, but you will get used to it. ~Ms. Thomas
