K-12 Outreach Programs in Robotics

This is the home page for educational opportunities for teachers and children hosted by the UMass Lowell Computer Science department. UML offers several K-12 outreach programs in robotics:

Botfest and Botball

We invite teachers participate in our Botfest and Botball programs: Tutorials for Botball and Botfest will be held on Friday and Saturday, January 25 and 26, 2008 at UMass Lowell (Botfest will be Saturday only).

The Botfest exhibition and Botball competition will be held at UMass Lowell on April 5, 2008.

Fall Half-Day Workshop

We will hold a half-day workshop on Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 10:00 am to 1 pm on the 3rd Floor of Olsen Hall, North Campus, UMass Lowell.

Computer Science Education Discussion Group

This is an informal meeting of elementary, secondary and college educators to discuss Computer Science education. Please come and share your practices with other teachers and meet faculty at the Computer Science department at UMass Lowell. Also, you will learn about the UMass Lowell C.S. program and scholarship opportunities.
