DesktopClient The Desktop Client is a trusted Java applet that is served from the iSENSE web site. Because it is trusted, it gains access to the local machine's serial port and thereby can retrieve data from directly connected sensors. The Client also is able to retrieve data from the Wireless sub-system. The Client allows a user to log into the Database and configure an experiment (e.g., specify rate of data capture) for upload into the database. |
