The
institute is for beginners and assumes no prior knowledge (only interest!).

We will introduce concept of a wiki and discuss this tool can be used to meet an intentional pedagogical need.  Examples of how wikis have been integrated in UML courses will be discussed.

The session is being held in
a computer lab in Olsen Hall.  After the introductory discussion, we will break to individual computers for hands on work.  Participants will create their own account in the UML area of the wikispaces system, and then set up a project page.  You will convert at least one document from a Word file, upload one or more images or diagrams, and configure the menus for the site.
