  • November 2007: Prabhu Govindaswamy defended his master thesis "Early Results on Sensor-Integrated Camera Surveillance".
  • September 2007: Chunyan Du defended her master thesis "A study on wireless network security".
  • September 2007: Dr. Y. Luo, K. Chandra, G. Chen, and J. Wang received a two-year award ($150K) from National Science Foundation (NSF) to build a programmable infrastructure using network processors.
  • September 2007: Dr. B. Liu received a three-year award ($150K) from National Science Foundation (NSF) to study cooperative wireless networks.
  • July 2007: CNIS director Dr. Jie Wang became Chair of the Department of Computer Science.
