!Disconnecting from VDSP but allowing your program to continue to run
In normal development, your code is downloaded into RAM and you launch it from within VDSP.  You may wish to disconnect the Handy Board from the PC, but have your code continue to run.

To do this:

* Go into Settings:Target Options.
* In the area "On Emulator Exit", select "Run from current PC".  Close the dialog.
* To disconnect from the Handy Board, go into the "Session" menu and choose "Disconnect from Target."

'''Note: If you choose to turn off or unplug the Handy Board while VDSP is still open, you should do this software disconnect first.'''
