LabVIEWEmbeddedThe Blackfin Handy Board can be used with the new NI LabVIEW Embedded Module for ADI Blackfin Processors, jointly developed by National Instruments and Analog Devices. We are developing a set of LabVIEW VIs (Virtual Instruments, or LabVIEW programs) that specifically support the sensor/motor I/O and other features of the Blackfin Handy Board. Using LabVIEW Embedded, you can literally create a program by dragging and dropping icons and wiring them together. LabVIEW Embedded compiles your iconic program in C code, which is then compiled and downloaded by Analog's Visual DSP++ compiler and loaded into the Handy Board. For more details, see the EZ-KIT Lite® Tutorial link. This is a step-by-step introduction to building a simple LabVIEW program for the Analog EZ-KIT Lite® evaluation board. A similar tutorial for the Blackfin Handy Board will be available shortly. More information about the robotics course based on LabVIEW Embedded will be presented at NIWeek 2006. |
